Best Hotels in AlUla

This is not the Middle East you think you know.

It is older. Wilder. Still.

And yet, incredibly modern in the way it redefines luxury : not with gold, but with space, silence, and sacred presence.

It’s not just a destination. It’s a sanctuary carved into sandstone, where heritage, spirituality, and otherworldly landscapes meet.

Here, every grain of sand seems to know a story.

Every dusk carries the weight of a thousand suns that came before.

For the refined traveler, AlUla is not about escape, it’s about reconnection.

To know before you go

  • Best Time to Visit

AlUla is best visited between October and April, when daytime temperatures range from 20–30°C and the evenings are cool and starry.

Avoid summer months (May–September) where temperatures can exceed 40°C.

Bonus : February–March aligns with Winter at Tantora, a festival of music, art, and culture in the desert.

  • Entry & Visa

Tourist eVisa required for most countries (including Switzerland, EU, UK, US). Apply online — the process is quick, digital, and usually approved within 24h. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months.

  • How to Get There

Fly to AlUla International Airport (ULH) via Riyadh, Jeddah or Dubai. From the airport, resorts are 20 to 35 minutes away by car. Most luxury stays include private transfers.

  • Local Culture & Etiquette

Dress modestly in public spaces (covered shoulders and knees for all genders). A high emphasis is placed on respect, calm, and grounded presence.
